i had spent almost the whole night studying for history, and i didnt manage to get much in my head. at least i have proceeded from my school of thoughts and moved on to the american role in decolonisation. i dont quite understand why those countries have to do so many bo liao stuff la, they are only adding to the burden of history students(reminds me of white men's burden, u know, the japs were supposedly liberating southeast asians from the white men's burden during WW2!) oh gosh. look at what history did to me. :
im getting quite nervous already, just so scared that i cannot even start my history essay later. and good news, there are 2 essays to be written within 1.5 hours. usually, i can never manage to finish writing an essay within 45 minutes. so, if u do ur maths correctly, i wont be able to complete my essays within 1.5 hours. bleh. IF IF IF none of the questions come out under the topics i have studied, im dead meat. oh well. im dead meat right from the start anyway. :(

i went to my friendster just now, and found out that there is actually this Soul and brods potluck gathering at east coast later tonight. and i only noticed it today? i think the person only posted the notice last night la. damn him/her. i guess it's ok, at least i have my c3 outing today, or else i would be hopping mad. :x

soooo looking fwd to the end of history paper. im celebrating already, nvm bout my history revision. for the moment. ;D

3 hours of sleep. adrenaline still running high. :)

actually im not posting this entry to celebrate my 250th entry or whatever la, just too lazy to think of a title. when u're studying for history, i dont think u will bother much bout the title of ur latest blog entry.

i've been studying since 6pm? but seriously, nothing has gotten into my otherwise empty brain. i feel that my studying for the past 4 hours has gone to waste, i just cannot concentrate! all i can think about right now, is what i will be doing after 4pm(history paper ends :D) tmr. basically, another paper is going to be a goner, and that's history. hurrah.

no matter, i will continue trying my best to squeeze those history stuff into my tiny brain. it's so tough, and im still stuck at the traditional school of thoughts! i havent moved on to the revisionist school of thought yet. riiiiiight. >< so many other things to cramp in, there is still decolonisation after Japanese Occupation, and i was hoping i could study a bit of pre-war nationalism. oh well.. let's see what i can do bout all these later on. maybe i should catch some sleep! i cannot concentrate whenever i feel sleepy. :(

im so looking fwd to the end of history paper tmr! will be going out with farrah and derrick to orchard, and it's finally a C3 outing! lols. been a long time. :) gonna be eating dinner with them, and maybe wander ard orchard before AND after that? im not so sure. other than that, im going to mediacorp studios for the superband revival round! im not going to watch the thingie la, just going there cos farrah said Soul and Lucify may be going to support the revivalists since J3 is going. im crossing my fingers! :D

alrightey, i shall be stopping here. IT'S THE LAST PAPER TMR! i shall finish my revisionist school of thought and go catch forty winks. ;)

yay, exams are almost over. chinese tmr and history the day after. just thinking about history makes me feel a bit disgusted, but oh well. i gotta live with it. :x

i think i can skip studying for chinese and instead concentrate on history. chinese is H1 and history is H2! :S must jiayou le, somany things to remember for history. southeat asian history. -_-" sickening right, with all the countries. indonesia, vietnam, burma, thailand, malaysia and philippines. ><

During this period of exam stress, of course I have to relieve my stress right? I was about to say this is an entry paying tribute to my motivators, but sounds wrong. :P

Motivating things in my LIFE!
1. Family! I love my family, they put up with all my grumblings and complaints whenever I'm studying for my exams. And sometimes they offer to stay up with me to accompany me during my study process. ;D

2. Friends! Loads of friends have wished me luck and encouraged me as i trudged and pant my way through the exams. Kudos to people like SIEWFONG who has actually sms-ed me a day before my exams to wish me luck. A BIG thank you! I was so damn touched la, really motivates me. :) and kudos to Benny to, checking how I'm progressing with my papers and revision. Thank God for you!

3. God and His word! Everytime I study for my exams, I'll get really worried and fearful, thinking that it's going to be the end of the world. The word has some really motivating verses from Matthews! And everytime I feel so fearful, God will always give me peace, and a calm heart & mind. Praise the Lord! :D

4. ANDY & VICS! To anyone who does not know who they are, Andy is from SOUL in Superband, while Vics is from Lucify. :) Not that they encouraged me or anything la, in fact I don't even know them for heaven's sake, BUT whenever I see the pictures that Farrah helps me to take, I'll get damn motivated. LOL.
AND A BIG THANK YOU TO FARRAH TOO. :D You're my motivator too! Not only do you encourage me during the exam period, but you also help me take my other motivators' pictures! ;P

5. Not wanting to fail too badly. Another good motivator for me to start studying even though it's the very last minute. :)

I just realised I don't have that many motivators in my life. But guess what? IT'S OKAY, I'm very contented with 5 motivators. :D *LAUGHS*

Just look at the friggin' time I'm updating this blog of mine! Been chiong-ing/pia-ing/mugging/whatever-you-call-it Chemistry till now. I still feel that I have not pia-ed enough, but ar, if I were to continue, I will be a walking zombie later. The fortunate thing is, we only have to report to school at around 12.30 - 12.45pm, so I can sleep till 10.30am! :D I still want to do some readings for GP, didn't even bother bout it throughout the whole holidays! Feel a bit guilty la, and tomorrow's GP paper already. Tuesday's Econs and Chem, I'm dreading Tuesday, Wednesday(Maths) and Friday(History). God bless me! ;)

I'm damn hungry and exhausted. PHEW.

this morning, mum wanted me to bring the BPGHS donation card to church, so that my bro and i can sought for donations at church. but guess what? we didnt even manage to raise 2 pathetic bucks. well nevermind, wo men hui jia you de!

father's day service was great. i invited my parents to church and they went, with my sis tagging along even though she was supposed to go to children's church. i think my father was clueless throughout most of the service, cos the sermon was in english, but he got the gist of the sermon la. that's the most important part! after service, lao pa gave me and my bro a big hug each. he only gives hugs one in a million years, so i have to wait another million years before he gives another hug. MUST cherish that hug! :x

tmr 3706 having econs tutorial. it's always dreadful when i think of going back to school. :( and there's bible studies tmr night, most probably at tanjong pagar. w330 chalet from tuesday to thursday, zone combined meeting at JW on friday. a bit busy, but not as busy as kai hua, who has camp for 4 days starting from tmr! so sad la she, cannot study for her mid-years also. maybe she sneaked her notes into her sleeping bag so that she can study at night? buut, looking at the way she is always excited to go offline at night to sleep, i doubt so la. lol.

okay then. im writing till here, im going to study for chinese. :D

woo. yesterday had been a really great great day out with LOG at ESCAPE theme park. :D

FLIPPER! REVOLUTION! PIRATES(to huiying: it's a viking ship ok!)! RAINBOW! GO-KART! although there were very little rides in ESCAPE, we still got ourselves very tired. i was totally addicted to revolution and flipper, revolution especially la. me, huiying, siewfong and weiqian went to revolution 5 times while the others went on 4 times. all of us went on flipper and pirates 3 times. after going on revolution, went straight to pirates and i started becoming really sick. just felt dizzy and wanted to puke! :x sitting on the bus and train just got ONE word into my head: REVOLUTION. wow. the power of revolution!

after playing for the whole day, we retired to our home base: LOT ONE! we ate at Let's Eat~ the hor fun was served in such a big plate. first time i cannot finish hor fun leh! and the iced chocolate was nice. chef's recommendation mah, of course nice. :x

shuxian, weiqian, yeeshan, shirley and i went to play pool. and then we went home. got sunburnt lor. -_-"

has it been a long time since i last updated? my last update was after the BP bbq, and that was last wednesday! wah, time passes. and it passes really fast also, ESPECIALLY when it's the holidays. i hope i can motivate myself to start chionging, cos if i dont. i dunno where i will end up after promos. :(

AND GUESS WHAT!? im sick, so sick that im frustrated. so frustrated that im even sick-er. i've been having restless nights, where i toss and turn. and ican even blow my nose when im asleep, judging by the used tissue papers by my bed. >< feels awfully terrible. all the on and off fevers, the hurting coughs, the blocked nose. :S i MUST get well soon! bleh. short entry, cant be bothered to type much le. :p

YESTERDAY
seriously, yesterday had been a really eventful day, kept busy all the way from morning to night. lemme go into details.

morning - CG brunch at BB mac's at 10am. to my dismay, i reached there at 9.56am and only saw Daniel there. the others reached at the earliest time of 10.20am. i had apple pie, macmuffin and 1/8 of my tea before rushing off for maths lecture in school. maths lecture was quite interesting, many peeps kept walking in and out of the lecture theatre. i call that interesting because ANYTHING other than graphing techniques would be interesting.

afternoon - lecture ends! vincent, xiu wen, cherrie, yu zhe, ji sun, qiuxuan, xiao min, se ying and me went to NYP for lunch! lol. see how much i ate yesterday? :p i had sweet and sour fish set plus one chocolate milk tea. :D it was really nice! yu zhe and i were ppl-watching too. don't ya just looooove ppl watching? :)

after lunch, cherrie, xiu wen, ji sun and me went to causeway to walk ard. we went to look at our dream shoes, dream bags, dream whatever. and we saw winnie the pooh, tigger, piglet and eeyore! it's actually humans in the costumes prancing ard, but i still think tigger and pooh are cute. WOO!

night - went to BP band's BBQ in sch! actually by the time shirley and me went there, it was already quite late. and most of the food were already eaten up... the only things left were bread, some curry, chicken wings, satay, crabstick, stingray and hotdogs. to say the truth, shirley and i only ate crabsticks and part of a stingray. we finished a whopping 2 packets of crabsticks!

we played volleyball too. THAT'S when the disaster comes in. shirley and me didnt want to malu ourselves anymore, so we decided to walk to the end of the field right beside the expressway and play. i think a dimwit can also guess what i did. :X i hit the vball right over the fence and onto the side of the drain! >< (quotes shirley "fear engulfed me") we found out it was si ying's ball.. i felt damn guilty la, and decided to go and retrieve it. the journey was tough, i kept thinking that snakes were going to pop up any moment and bite my toes. oh well, managed to get the vball and save myself 20 bucks and shirley 12 bucks. THANKS SHIRLEY FOR ACCOMPANYING ME! :)

went to mac's~ i drank orange juice and shirley drank green tea. shirley is so busy la! everytime i want to check out her phone's gallery, a call would come in, and i wont even know i have already picked up the call for her. sheesh. i got "My Immortal" and "If I Ain't got You" from here, which makes for 47 songs in my handphone! i can nv finish listening to the songs on my journey to school, 47 songs or not, it doesnt matter. :)

midnight - took 975 home. the trip was damn creepy, because i was the only other human in the bus besides the driver. i bet people thought i was a ghost or something, wearing a very white t-shirt and staring into empty space. :P reached home, and i still managed to find energy to go online! Bro teng cheong asked me bout ppl in the bible, and it got me to read the other books(Isaiah, Ezekiel, Psalms) besides those in the new testament. thank God for that! :D

oh well. i guess that's all i wanna write for yesterday! will be updating tonight. :D

yes, a very BIG hurray for EMERGE conference 2006! it's not over yet, tmr then is the grand finale~ anyway, i've been going to almost all the sessions for EMERGE, cos im soooo addicted to it! :D

anyway, it had been really funny just now. all of us had gone to the photo taking booths to take stupid pictures after service! WOO! we took loads of pictures, but i gotta wait for david to upload it and i will get it from him! :D

isaac, david, kaikee and me went to BB Mac's to eat dinner cum supper. we ate A LOT, and i really mean a lot. david took some pics of the food, BUT have to wait for him to upload again. lol~ :p we were laughing throughout our meal, cos there were just so many funny things happening! it was a happy meal (sings "that's my macdonald's") dad drove kaikee to bukit gombak. LOL. kaikee is so not used to my dad's lorry! she had trouble climbing up, then when she was bout to alight, she practically "leaped" from the seat to the ground. she almost FELL la, and i guess the malay guys on the pavement were quite stunned to see her "leaping" out. hahaha! kaikee's really mad today la. :D havent seen her SO mad before. :p

TMR'S THE GRAND FINALE OF EMERGE! :D so excited(once again, E for EMERGE!) cant wait~ but first of all, i wanna get sleeeeep.

things havent been going well ever since the day started, woke up to see may's sms telling me to contact the peeps from NAC(national arts council) so that i can organize an interview with one of the personnel, and i realize that i havent arranged to meet anyone to go for service.

ok, the NAC part, i tried calling a couple of times, but no one picked up the phone. what's their phone for?! i swear im going to complain if i ever have to go down to NAC personally! %$^#&%$^&*

anyway, bout the "contacting W391 ppl" mission. the first person i sms-ed was farrah, and she told me she was really tired, so i guessed that's one out. the nxt person i sms-ed was kai kee, but no reply from her yet. and then david, and then amelie, all no reply. where are all my CG mates when i want to contact them?! they are as uncontactable as the NAC ppl. eeeeeek.

hope that they will reply my sms soon! cos im going to leave for expo! why hasnt anyone replied me yet?! T_T
